Short-term Rentals
We are engaging the community on the topic of Short-term rentals
In November of 2021, the City began researching ways to fairly address concerns of the community around short-term rentals (STRs). As part of this research, the City is conducting community engagement throughout June and July of 2022. Input from the community is critical to helping City Council and staff understand how best to address the topic.
Our goal is to collect input from a wide variety of community members. This input will be used to inform the final recommendation from City staff to the City Council on how best to address community concerns. Check out the project timeline to understand the full community engagement process.
We are using a variety of tools to collect input. There are two ways that you can get involved today:
Take an Online Questionnaire: Series of questionnaires developed to solicit opinions from a wide variety of community members. Open now! Get started below.
Attend In-Person Community Conversations: In-person facilitated conversations between small groups of community members. July 6 at 7:30 am and 6:00pm at the Ute Pass Cultural Center. Each session is two hours. Requires separate registration.
Get started by taking Questionnaire #1 below or signing up for one of two Community Conversations on July 6.
