life in Woodland Park

I came here 14 years ago with my retired husband. We were quickly accepted into a social club (UPSC) at the time had 250 very active people of all ages, mostly retired. This club was originally the Newcomer's club, but no one wanted to move on, so it became Ute Pass Social Club. Through the club we met and became friends quickly, with activities like hiking, cards, eating out, happy hours, Pickleball, parties, movies, Mexican train, you name it. This club had something for everyone and this community quickly became "my home".

I wish we had more restaurants, and more pickleball courts. I love the swimming pool, movie house, and the park, the Symphony under the Clouds., the Pantry, Help the Needy and Church's and their involvement in the Community.

This definitely was the best move for us. We have lived in Louisiana, Texas and Oklahoma, Colorado is the place for us and Woodland Park is the best of Colorado.
