My second time back to WP - third time back to Colorado
I like the small population of WP. I hate big cities.
WP has everything that we need locally...except a good steakhouse.
My house is in the trees which I love. The 8,400 ft altitude keeps us cooler in the summer and don't really need an expensive whole house air conditioner.
We have cleaner and dryer air than the big cities. I get to see Pikes Peak everyday which is always inspiring. Not to mention all my favorite hiking places are accessible without driving more than a half day.
Most of the people in WP/Teller County have a pioneer spirit rather than a big city attitude. We are more friendly than those in the big cities.
I'm here to stay. Won't be moving again.
