    I came here 14 years ago with my retired husband. We were quickly accepted into a social club (UPSC) at the time had 250 very active people of all ages, mostly retired. This club was originally the Newcomer's club, but no one wanted to move on, so it became Ute Pass Social Club. Through the club we met and became friends quickly, with activities like hiking, cards, eating out, happy hours, Pickleball, parties, movies, Mexican train, you name it. This club had something for everyone and this community quickly became "my home".

    I came here 25 years ago after retiring from the AF because it was a great place to raise my kids. It still had a friendly, small town atmosphere back then. I remember waiting in line at City Market feeling so welcome. There have been many changes since those days.

    that I work in a caring and sharing City like Woodland Park. I feel very lucky to have found this place, or maybe, luckier to have been found.
